Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This explains what I collect, why, and what you can do about it — in plain language.

01 Who I am
Awesome Factory is the software studio of Nicolas Perez ("I", "me", or "Awesome Factory"). This Privacy Policy covers this website (the "Site") and the services offered through it — primarily the sale of professional engineering hours. For privacy questions, reach me through the contact form.
02 Information I collect
I keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the studio:
- Contact details you give me. When you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, email address, and whatever you choose to put in your message.
- Payment information. Purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch this Site or my servers. I receive only transaction metadata (e.g. amount, date, and a confirmation reference).
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, my hosting provider may log standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested for security and reliability.
I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 years of age.
03 How I use it
- To reply to your enquiries and provide the engineering services you request.
- To process payments and send receipts (via Stripe).
- To keep records required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance.
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site.
I do not sell your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising.
04 Service providers
I rely on a small number of trusted processors to operate:
- Stripe — payment processing. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
- FormSubmit — delivers contact-form submissions to my inbox. See the FormSubmit service.
- My web host — serves the Site and keeps standard server logs.
These providers only access data as needed to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy obligations.
05 Cookies
This Site does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. Third-party services such as Stripe may set cookies that are strictly necessary to complete a secure checkout on their own pages.
06 Data retention
I keep correspondence and transaction records only as long as needed for the purpose collected and to meet legal or accounting requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
07 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these, reach me through the contact form and I'll respond promptly.
08 Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
